There are no major changes between the two units, but the minor changes include updates to emergency scenarios and first aid procedures. How much does a first aid course cost?
First aid courses are an important investment, both for individuals and businesses. As a general guide, most first aid courses in Brisbane will cost between $100 and $180. Individuals attending public courses should consider the cost of travel, parking and time away from work as factors when considering overall cost. My First Aid Course offer some of the cheapest first aid courses in Brisbane. Our public course venues have free parking at multiple convenient locations and courses are extremely time efficient as we incorporate pre-course online learning and assessment.
For businesses, the cost of a first aid course will usually be offset by the increased productivity and safety of employees. In addition, businesses can host onsite group training so there is no travel involved and discounts often apply for group bookings.
How long does a first aid course take?
Standard first aid courses typically take a full day of training to cover the fundamental knowledge and skills required to respond in emergency situations. However, with online learning, the time you spend in class can be significantly reduced. My First Aid Course offers both options for participants. The most popular is our 2-hour express assessment-only practical session with comprehensive online learning completed prior to attending.
