Provide First Aid HLTAID003 (previously known as ‘Senior First Aid’) will give you the confidence and skills in how to provide first aid response, life support Including Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and management of casualty(s) until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

Important Course Details

Pre-course Learning
Once booked you will receive an email with a link to Allens Training (the RTO we partner with). Simply complete the learning module, print it out and bring your proof of completion certificate to the course.
Attend our hands-on training day and be sure to bring:
  • Completed Online Certificate Page
  • Wear comfortable clothing
  • Pen
  • Form of identification (Drivers License, Passport, Photo I.D. Card, Student card)
Course Variances
Course durations reflect group sizes of between 4 and 15 participants. If there are less students, you may find course duration reduced by a maximum of 10%. If your group exceeds 15 participants it may also be necessary to increase course length depending on the number of participants.
Physical Requirements
It is a requirement of this course that you are physically capable of performing uninterrupted CPR for at least 2 minutes on a CPR manikin placed on the floor.
Recertification
It is recommended HLTAID003 be renewed every 3 years in line with industry standards
Upon Successful Completion:
What you will receive on successful completion of the course:
On successful completion of the Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) unit which incorporates the content of the following units: (HLTAID002) Provide Basic Emergency Life Support and (HLTAID001) Provide CPR, students will receive an A4 certificate and a plastic wallet card that is valid for 3 years from the course completion date. NOTE: Certificates are most often emailed to you as within a day or 2. Certificates and wallet cards are sent by mail and may take up to 10 business days.

Once you booked your public course date we will not issue any refunds if you do not attend or have not completed your pre-course work book. You may change your course date to another date provided you have informed us 2 days /48 hours in advance of your original booked date.
