This new approach to training allows individuals to complete the online component of training at their own pace, followed by a quick practical assessment with a trainer. In this current environment, we are taking actions to minimise the risk and this new program ticks all the boxes.

  • The theory component:
    • Can be done online
    • Can be completed at your own pace
    • Can be done on your choice of device (Mobile, Tablet, Desktop)
  • Very quick face-to-face assessment
    • Assessment conducted at 3 locations in North Brisbane.
  • Nationally recognised training.
    • HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
    • HLTAID003 Provide First Aid 
    • HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting
    • HLTAID005 Provide First Aid in Remote Situations
    • HLTAID007 Provide Advanced Resuscitation*

  • Once you have booked into the course you will receive a confirmation email with a link to complete your online training and details of assessment location and time.
  • Your online learning must be complete before attending your practical assessment.
  • To ensure you are fully prepared for the practical assessment, we suggest you revisit the Enhanced Online Practical Assessments just before the assessor arrives.
  • Assessable topics are listed in your second last online video module.

HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation: Approx. 2 hours of online theory and theory assessment with a 40 minutes face to face practical assessment with the trainer depending on your background and experience.

HLTAID003 Provide First Aid: Approx. 5.5 hours of online theory and theory assessment with a 90 minutes face to face practical assessment with the trainer depending on your background and experience.

HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting: Approx. 6 hours of online theory and theory assessment with a 90 minutes face to face practical assessment with the trainer depending on your background and experience.

HLTAID005 Provide First Aid in Remote Situations. Approx. 6 hours of online theory and theory assessment with a 90 minutes face to face practical assessment with the trainer depending on your background and experience.

UETTDRRF06B Perform rescue from a live LV panel and HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills set: Approx. 4 hours of online theory and theory assessment with a 40-50 minutes face to face practical assessment with the trainer depending on your background and experience.
